Hoover Dam

Yesterday, we took a quick trip up to Hoover Dam to see how the new over pass bridge has progressed. It was to be finished in 08 now it has changed to 2010. I guess with the winds the crane has toppled a couple of times. I can't imagine how they will meet the two sides. I had to get my photo of the wildflowers in!!

Over looking the tourists (which there was many) and also watching the progress was this family of sheep. My little point and shoot didn't do too bad a job since they were quite far away.

It was the highlight of the trip to spot some wildlife.

We then joined Lara, Mike and kids for lunch at Metro Pizza.

Ken and I then went to WalMart to pick up a few things (more Puffs!) and Ken found his toy he has been desiring, so he bought himself a Wii. I got my Ipod docking station too. We haven't taken either out of the box yet.

I saw on the news that more bad weather is predicted for back home.
