Week of birding and more

We finally found the Lucy's warblers, I've learned to locate them by their pretty song.
Here is a photo of this past weekend's snow in the higher elevations 3000 ft and higher, it was taken along the Salt River near Saguaro Lake.
This week was pretty good for birding, this little guy is a grey flycatcher, we also spotted an Ash throated Flycatcher.
Here's a hungry house finch.
We visited Basha's Western and Indian Art Gallery, a gem of a museum free to the public.
This week brought in spring so our stay here in the Valley of the Sun is about over, we will be sad to leave.

This weeks favorite photos

The weather has been perfect and reported sightings of the Lucy warbler has made us get out to look for it, but we haven't seen it for sure yet.
This Verdin can be easily mistaken for one,but the warbler doesn't have a yellow head and is a bit smaller.
At Boyce Thompson Arboretum but found this mom and baby hummer probably an Anna's.
For a break from birding we walked though an inflated sculpture and got some cool photos.
The flowers are beautiful at the Mesa Mormon Temple.
Maybe next week I'll have a photo of the Lucy's warbler.
