Carlsbad Caverns

We spent several hours at Carlsbad Caverns, the Big Room is just unbelieveable. It is a magestic cathedral with lace hangings, and beautiful columns sculpted by his own hand. There are many chapels each with their own individual character. It is hard to capture the beauty on a little digtal camera. Ken wants to go back and take his tripod to see if he can capture some of the beauty. We will also take in another section that you need a guide to take you through.

It was a little cooler today 61 and low tonight will be close to freezing. The sun was shining and was a beautiful day. We started with a nice breakfast served here at the campground. They serve bf only on Saturday mornings. Tonight is game night but Ken is into his cable TV, we really aren't game people.

Here's the old guy downloading his photos he took today with the help of the cats.
I had called my mother yesterday and she gave me the news that my aunt Laura who is 95 is expected to die soon. She had a bad fall. That means three of my fathers sibling will have passed away within 4 months of each other.
More from New Mexico tomorrow.
