The 4th

We went down to the Elms to help them celebrate it's 120 birthday. They had some entertainment, food, drink and some presentations from from local dignitaries. There wasn't too big of a crowd. Of course, Pres. Truman and Bess were present as they were the most famous to stay at the Elms. It was at the Elms where Pres. Truman learned he had defeated Dewey for the Presidency. There was also free birthday cake for everyone.

We went back later for the fireworks, they had a good display and the second one for EX, they had a fireworks display last weekend for the Waterfest which we didn't go see.

This morning we had a visit from daddy Oriole and he brought 2 babies. I didn't get a good shot of them, I tried to zoom up through the window and that doesn't work, Sorry. I don't think Ken got a photo either. First time I have ever seen young Orioles, maybe they will be back tomorrow.

We also watched alot of Wimbleton today, we'll probably catch the William sisters play tomorrow morning.
