This being the first Tues of the month, I went to my Red Had lunch. We had a very nice lunch at the Main Cup in Smithville. We have been basically just keeping cool and keeping an eye on whatever activity there is in the garden. Here are a few of our recent visitors.
Giant Swallowtail
Crescent Butterfly
Black Swallowtail
Monarch
Sphinx Moth (not sure which one)
This is Ken's photo, not mine.

I have found another fun and educational blog if you like beautiful photos of butterflies it is http://www.q-corner.blogspot.com/.
There is a new sound. The sound of high summer, the crickets in the grass.

Dear Jules,
Thank you so very much for mentioning Corner. I do love the birds and the butterflies.
Your female Black Tiger is my favorite of all the butterflies.
Cool down today was very welcomed! I went walking.
Your ladies group looks to be very fun.
